Our friends Matt and Joy Barnett joined us half way through the week and we had a lot of fun.
We went to Dixie Stampede again because we love their food and it is a fun, clean show. I found a recipe online that is a replicate of Dolly's creamy veggie soup. Can't wait to try it. I love that stuff and Blake does too.
One of the highlights for us was going to Dollywood on Wednesday and getting to see Dolly Parton. Blake keeps calling her Dolly Partner.
While we were there Blake celebrated his 5th birthday. Since we already had a dragon cake I made him a cookie in the shape of a 5.
We went to the Ripley Aquarium and had pizza to celebrate the big day. He has been so excited and tells just about everyone that he was 4 but now he's 5. He's been asking a lot of questions about God lately. He and Philip were talking recently about Jesus living in our heart and he asked, "Is there a chair in there?" He also has been wondering if God loves bad guys and bandits and has been praying about God changing our hearts. Love it. Hope that his little heart is always tender towards God.Blake received a card that plays music from some of our church friends and he loves it. I got a video clip of him singing along.

Looks like a fun vacation. We love going there, also!!! Happy birthday to Blake! :)
You'll have to let me know if/when you try the soup how it turns out. That's my favorite soup...wish I could make a trip there for some right now! :)
