Happy Birthday to Blake!

I'm so dreadfully behind on blogging that probably no one is checking my blog anymore, but thought I'd post just the same. We've had a busy but fun summer. In August we went on an Arnold family vacation. We met up with my parents, and 2 of my brothers and their families in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We had such a wonderful time together.

Next week Blake turns 5. I know all parents think this but I just am wondering where the last 5 years of my life went. We celebrated with Philip's parents and Grandma this past Saturday night since we wouldn't be able to get together again for some time.

To save myself some frustration I'm not going to post comments with the pictures. They always seem to be in a different order than what I thought I put them.

No promises but hopefully I will do better. Facebook is just so much easier.

Dorcas,
I still check your blog often hoping for updates and am so glad you posted!! I cannot believe that Blake is almost 5 years old. He's quite the handsome young man! Looks like you had a great time with your family. We visited your Dad's Church this summer and he wasn't there. He was at Penns Creek for camp. We were very disappointed we didn't get to see your parents!! Please keep updating your blog for me :o)

Hi Dorcas! It's so nice to hear from you. I'm sorry you missed my parents. I'm sure they would've loved to see you guys too. How are you all doing? Do you still have your blog? I thought of you this summer when we were in TN. I saw some pig stuff for the kitchen. Still decorating in pigs? Would love to see you all again. Take care.

I looked up dragon party cakes and a link for a fire breathing dragon came up. I was pretty happy too with how it turned out. The tricky part was putting icing on the parts that had been cut. It was hard to keep the crumbs out of the icing. Finally I decided that if a few crumbs showed it didn't matter. Dragons probably are a little dirty. :-)
